What's up, folks? Last month I told you that el Rubius had been showing off the Sporting shirt on his livestream, but today things have gone up a notch: MadKat, el Rubius's brand, and Siroko have just dropped a collab trainer. It's a special edition of the Siroko ONE Infinity high-tops, and this isn't a lazy «slap the logo on and call it a day» kind of deal: each foot tells a different story.
Heaven on one foot, hell on the other
The concept revolves around the duality of Japanese culture: the left foot represents hell and the right one, heaven. On the right shoe, for example, the upper has cloud relief details and the outer lace comes with charms of an angel cat and tiny mouse heads. A total nod to the cheeky MadKat universe, the brand that's already done collections with Batman, Rick and Morty, the Ninja Turtles and Fast & Furious, and which announced in February it was closing its «first chapter» to kick off a new era.

Buy them separately (yes, each shoe)
That's the whole point of the Siroko ONE line: trainers are sold one at a time. You pick the design and size for your left foot, you pick the ones for your right, and you build your pair. Want a black left and white right? Go for it. Siroko even has a builder tool so you can see how it looks before you buy. Just make sure you understand that the price you see on the website is for ONE shoe: you'll need two to actually wear them.

There are four designs and each one comes in left and right versions, so that's eight trainers total:

What they're like inside
- High-top, above the ankle.
- Upper in synthetic leather with reinforced suede-type toe.
- Memory foam insole for soft cushioning.
- Padded tongue and heel.
- Mesh lining and side holes so your foot breathes.
- Textured rubber sole for good grip.
- Fabric pull tab and adjustable outer lace with charms.
- Sizes 36 to 49, including half sizes.
To clean them: soft cloth and mild soap, brush for the suede parts, and keep them away from the washing machine and tumble dryer.
