📝 Match report

FC Andorra put on a goal-fest at Estadi Nacional and dispatched Ceuta with a thumping 5-1 victory that confirms the mountain side's impressive form in this new Hypermotion season. The Andorran outfit were absolutely dominant with 62.9% possession and overwhelming control of the match (25 shots to just 5 from the visitors), while Jordi Cano opened the scoring in the 33rd minute with a strike that set the tone for what was to come. Thomas Carrique and a Nacho Quintana in fine form—who bagged a brace in the 69th and 84th minutes—effectively sealed the deal, and although Jordi Escobar pulled one back in the 87th for Ceuta's honour, Álex Calvo wrapped things up deep into stoppage time to cap off an Andorran masterclass that hints at exciting things ahead in this division. So begins the Pyrenean side's journey: homework done properly and with the feeling that this Hypermotion campaign could serve up some tasty surprises.
