📝 Match report

Mallorca drew 0-0 against Eldense at the Nuevo Pepico Amat on matchday 4 of LaLiga Hypermotion, squandering a penalty that would have put the red and whites firmly in the promotion battle. Luis García's men wasted that spot-kick, missed by Álex Sala right before half-time—a miss that felt decisive on a night where the Balearic side's lack of finishing was practically contagious. Mallorca started with real intensity at the Nuevo Pepico Amat, with a decent effort from Fuentes that Ramón Vila saved brilliantly with his foot, and Luvumbo had another chance shortly after, but his shot ended up in the keeper's hands. Vila's goal became Eldense's fortress against Mallorca's relentless pressure. The islanders lacked the killer touch in front of goal in a match where they dominated possession, leaving them with that bittersweet taste of having let the chance to top the table slip through their fingers. A point rescued by Mallorca on Alicante soil, but with the uncomfortable certainty that it should have been so much more.
